Happy Mother's Day!

Yes, I know it has been a while since I have done any updates, but things have been busy. So now I have a few minutes. Not a whole lot has changed, there isn't a lot of unusual excitement in our lives. But Casey is amazing us every day. He learns so fast and retains everything--that is everything that he wants to.

These pictures were from a few weeks ago when the three of us actually had a day off together and visited Como Zoo, and although all of the animals weren't all out, we still had a nice time, Casey really enjoyed it.

He loved seeing the giraffes and the zebras. The birds and the turtles were his favorite.

And before we left we sat and watched the duck in the pond, he thought that was pretty cool too. The only thing we didn't get to see was an elephant. We tried to explain that there probably wouldn't be an elephant at the zoo, but you know how those things go...

Happy
Mother's
Day!

What we're up to...

Hi All~Welcome to the new home of the Gove family. That is Kelly, Missi and Casey. I don't know that I will have much time to keep this updated since Kelly is working full-time and going to school two nights a week. Yes, he has decided to become an Accountant, and he is pretty excited about it. He is attending Minnesota School of Business Monday and Tuesday evenings for this quarter and also taking one online class. It is keeping him pretty busy. He is still working at Nordstrom in the Women's Shoe Department, and has just recently accepted one of the Assistant Manager positions there.

As for me (Missi) I am still working full-time in South St. Paul at Dental South, P.A. as a Registered Dental Assistant. Most days I am still loving it. I work with a great dentist, who really cares about his patients, which makes my job a lot more fun. That and being a mom keeps me more busy than I can handle some days.

As for Casey, the pride and joy of our lives, he is getting so big and learning so much every day. He never ceases to amaze me. He is now 19 months old and such a big boy. He has to do everything for himself now, unless he is sick or too tired. He has been attending KinderCare here in Rosemount since May and it has been rocky at times, but I think we have worked some things out and it is getting better. There was a lot of inconsistency with the teaching staff and now that has gotten much better. We have been talking to his teachers every day and he seems to be responding to that and playing with the other kids more. When he nears 2 1/2 years, we are considering taking him to a place in Rosemount called The Bridges, of which we have heard endless positive comments about.
